Patna, Dec 24: Bihar Transport, Industries and Commerce Minister formally going to launch an Air Ambulance service in Patna soon by the starting of next Year, "According to the sources".
Patna-based Patna Air Ambulances Private Ltd will operate its Air Ambulance Service from Patna with "Medical evacuation Ambulance" as its brand.
The Ambulance from Patna is completely equipped with all emergency medical equipment and has a highly skilled expert medical crew to carefully take care of patients throughout Transportation.
Unveiling the service, the entire team is making sure that the air ambulance service would be the usher in this new era of possessiveness towards better healthcare for the patients of Patna and the state of Bihar.
"Since the air ambulance will be parked at Patna airport, it will lessen its Charges of the entire services by half. Earlier, an ambulance had to fly from Delhi to take a patient from Patna to the national capital. Besides, the services will also facilitate organ transplants under critical conditions," he said.
They are also planning for the night parking facility which would be available at Patna’s International Airport here from next month and many Airways had agreed in principle to operate its early-morning and late-evening flights to and fro in the Delhi-Patna air route.
The minister further added that the government of Patna had requested the union ministries of External Affairs and Civil Aviation to connect the capitals of the reputed places across countries to Patna under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS), which are at a flying distance of 2 hours from Patna at the time of emergency and for convenience of the patient's.
"Work is in the process to convert them to have more Medical evacuation Ambulances in Patna as for the development of a new aircraft at the Airport," he said.
