29 November 2021: Optiontown in partnership with Singapore Airlines (SIA) introduces Flight Pass, a new product which allows customers to purchase multiple flight tickets in advance at highly discounted rates and use them for future bookings as per their convenience.

A key feature of Flight Pass is the flexibility and convenience that it offers customers. Flight Pass can be customized based on parameters such as destinations, number of flights, travel period and fare type. It can also be shared with anyone that the customer chooses. In particular, Flight Pass allows customers to lock in discounted air fares for multiple flights and decide on their travel dates at a later date. Flight Pass will save customers the hassle of searching for flight fares every time they wish to travel, thus saving over 90% of the total flight planning, searching and booking time. As Flight Pass locks-in the low fare for the customer, the customer can just look up their preferred flight and book it instantly.

Flight Pass will initially be offered for flights between Singapore and France, Italy, South Korea, Spain, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. This includes the quarantine-free Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights from these destinations to Singapore, if the trip starts from Singapore. Flight Pass will be progressively expanded to other points in the Singapore Airlines network.

Flight Pass offers great value for both leisure and corporate customers across all customer segments, including families traveling for vacations or personal trips, students, small business owners, medium size businesses and large corporate customers or government agencies. What features of Flight Pass can I customise?

Flight Pass allows you to customise any of the below parameters to suit your unique travel needs, be it for leisure or business.
• Travel zone - One or more destinations you want to fly to.
• Number of passengers - Number of people who can share the Flight Pass.
• Number of flights - A round-trip booking for one passenger requires 2 flight credits.
• Travel period - The eligible period for flight departure.
• Advance booking - How early in advance a flight must be booked before travel.
• Fare type - Each fare type offers a different range of advance booking selection and Flight Pass conditions for flight changes and cancellations, frequent flyer miles, etc.
• After a Flight Pass has been purchased, a customer can easily change any one or more of the above features online using the Manage My Pass option on our website. For example, if you wish to travel to a different destination, you may add or replace one or more destinations by changing your Travel Zone. You can also reduce your advance booking days or add more flights or increase the number of passengers.

Are there any hidden restrictions or fees?

No. Flight Pass has no hidden restrictions and no hidden fees. Book any flight subject to seat availability and your selected Flight Pass conditions. Even if the market fare of a flight increases, you do not have to pay additional surcharges. Your Flight Pass is governed by the conditions you select at the time of your purchase.
