Nyles Lehnen is the creator and owner of two television shows: “Patriot Bowhunters” and “Deer Hunters TV.” Nyles Lehnen currently is in negotiation with television networks to get both shows on the air. Both shows focus on hunting, as well as some of the bigger issues that surround the subject.

“Deer Hunters TV” looks at hunting from a general standpoint, and also at the ways in which changing laws and popular conceptions of hunting are changing the accessibility to hunting areas for regular people. “Deer Hunters TV” is a reality television show that will introduce its viewers to different types of hunters, different reasons for hunting, and the ways in which the commercialization of hunting will have an effect on the recreational hunter both now and in the future.

“Patriot Bowhunters” differs from “Deer Hunters TV” in that it is mainly footage of deer bowhunting. Nyles Lehnen is hoping to create an expanded version of “Patriot Bowhunters,” which is currently filmed in Iowa and in other sites across the Midwest. The expanded version would be called “Patriot Adventures,” and would include footage of large game hunts and fishing that take place all over the continent. “I’ve been involved in opening and designing a range of different businesses and ideas,” said Nyles Lehnen. “‘Patriot Bowhunters’ and ‘Deer Hunters TV’ both address issues and explore subject matter near and dear to my heart. I’m hoping that I can teach something new to those who hunt, as well as those who don’t,” said Nyles Lehnen.

Websites for both shows are currently in development, while Nyles Lehnen works diligently to get them both on the air. Nyles Lehnen gained all of his knowledge for the shows firsthand. Nyles Lehnen has been a recreational hunter for years. Nyles Lehnen is extremely familiar with Iowa’s wilderness and is passionate about introducing others to it. Nyles Lehnen gives tours to those looking to explore Iowa as well.
