On Saturday, April 27th, The Living Full Out radio show will discuss techniques to follow your dreams despite any obstacles along the way. Host Nancy Solari will discuss the importance of remaining persistent in reaching your goals. We invite David Francisco, a singer/songwriter and American Idol contestant whose life was changed when he suffered a severe spinal injury in 2016. Nancy will offer advice to callers on how they can adapt to life’s changes and still work toward their aspirations.
On this week’s episode, accomplished singer/songwriter, producer, and spinal cord injury survivor David Francisco will share how he persisted through his rehabilitation to pursue his music career. In April of 2016, David was riding his bicycle when a distracted driver ran a red light at a busy intersection and t-boned him. David’s back was snapped, his spinal cord severely damaged and his left forearm torn open. The following year consisted of intense, full-time physical therapy and rehabilitation, where David focused all of his efforts on regaining any possible mobility. In 2017, he auditioned for American Idol and went all the way to Hollywood week. Today, David still has a successful music career and is working toward his goals every day.
