Intake of high level of protein in middle age raises to cancer, diabetes and death.

29th Nov 2014, United Kingdom (www.abortionpillrx.com): Scientists gave a detailed report on March 4th that the individuals who actually consumed a diet loaded with much protein in their middle age i.e. from 50 to 65 were at risk of dying from cancer at least with a 4 time risk level than the individuals who had a low protein diet.

The study was led by Valter Longo from the University of Southern California to equate the potential risk of a diet comprising of high level of protein to the case of smoking. The major and prime keys to the findings are due to the role of certain molecule named insulin like growth factor – 1 / IGF-1. The same type molecule was also the key player in the publicized analysis that was published three years ago by Valter with the company of Jaime Guevara – Aguirre from the Institute of Endocrinology, Methabolism and Reproduction in Quito at Ecuador along with the colleagues who had their assistance by looking at the patients in various remote areas of the Southern Part of Ecuador.

It is noted that the subjects of the analysis and study had a kind of exceptional mutation that made interference with the usual functioning of the Insulin like Growth Factor or the IGF-1. It made blocking of the body’s usual growth pathway and due to it, the adults with the case of Laron Syndrome rarely made a growth beyond the height of 3.5 ft tall.

There was an unusual case of side-effects of the issue which was observed by the scientists. Larons never got cancer but as per the researchers, it didn’t get the diabetes even though there was obesity involved in them. With respect to the recent case of stud that got published in the Cell Metabolism, the research scientists made analysis of the data from the centre for the Disease Control & Prevention’s National Health & Nutrition Examination Survey also known as NHANES.

There was a report of evidence which was termed as a case of unexpected twist by the researchers. Post the age period of 65, there seemed to be a case of opposite effect of the high level protein diet. It actually protected one against the mortality. It actually meant that low protein involved diet by the individual during the middle period of age looked to be protective while the same case of low intake of protein among the older adults has a case of harmful effects.

The Laron case study was a type of continuation of the work which was initiated 20 years ago. There are various kinds of surprising claims from the new case study although. A high level protein diet consumed during the middle age was linked to the case of high risk involving death and had links to cancer in comparison to the low intake of protein. According to various kinds of clinical works by numerous members, the intake of protein on higher scale involved more of the activities by IGF-1. This was similar even in the case of mice.

What does this high / medium / low protein diet mean?
High means 20 % or more than 20 % of the calories are actually coming from the protein while medium means around 10 to 20 % and Low involves lesser than 10 %.

Next step?
There is an ongoing case of clinical trials from the past year and these trials involve basic statements that involve saying people to not change what they do in diet terms. But the people are asked to switch the diet once a month for 5 days to a diet that actually mimics the case of proper fasting. This is to know if such period level changes and exposure to extreme level diets can help in reprogramming the system so that the IGF-1 pathway is able to switch to a moreover advantageous and positive mode.
