GO CASHLESS WORKSHOP HELD AT ARYA VIDYAPEETH COLLEGE, GAUHATI UNIVERSITY A training session on cashless transactions was organised for the students, faculty and the administrative members of the Arya Vidyapeeth College in Guwahati, Assam.

 
A training session on cashless transactions was organised for the students, faculty and the administrative members of the Arya Vidyapeeth College in Guwahati, Assam. The awareness cum training session was held on the 16th of February in the seminar hall of the college campus and the project culminated on 20th of February. Around 120 students belonging to NSS and NCC units participated in this mission.
Dr.Anirban Choudhury, Project Head of NDLM-Darwin addressed the gathering and explained in details the benefits of various cashless methods of transactions.
A detailed presentation and various training videos were also screened on the occasion. The convenor of the session Dr.Subir Sarkar who is also a professor of the
college inspired the students to contribute their energies for the service of the nation.
The event was organized as part of the Project Visaka campaign initiated under the Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India under
which all Higher Education Institutions of the country have been asked to encourage their students to be volunteers under the DIGITAL INDIA Initiative.
