Meditation Tones Are TheNew Mental Health Therapy

These tones, having particular frequencies enhances certain aspects of our mental life and also align with our natural brainwaves.

Depending on the beat frequency, the music can support/enhance concentration, relaxation, reduce anxiety, and enhance a sense of overall well- being.

Tones and frequencies can also affectthought and emotion. Using audio with embedded binaural beats or Isochronic tones that are mixed with music or various background sounds with headphones can produce desirable results. The results range from relaxation, meditation, stress reduction, pain management, improved sleep, decrease in sleep requirements, enhanced learning, enhanced creativity and remote viewing. Audio embedded with such tones would be used periodically for 10 -15 minutes to observe results.

How the brain works

Our brainwaves range from:
Beta (alertness), waves are associated with normal waking consciousness and a heightened state of alertness
Alpha (relaxed, reflecting), waves are present in deep relaxation and usually when the eyes are closed, when you’re slipping into a lovely daydream or during light meditation
Theta (light meditation, sleeping) waves are present during deep meditation and light sleep, including the all-important REM dream state.
Delta (deep sleep) frequency is the slowest of the frequencies and is experienced in deep, dreamless sleep and in very deep, transcendental meditation where awareness isfully detached

Entering into the theta sate is where meditation and visualization takes place and you begin to have access to the subconscious mind according to the science. Auto suggestions can be and should be made at this point which are positive and affirming messages that one creates for self in order to change behavior.

Brainwave entrainment or "brainwave synchronization," is any practice that aims to cause brainwave frequencies to fall into step with a periodic stimulus having a frequency corresponding to the intended brain-state.

For our purposes we are going to induce alpha wave frequencies and placing our affirmation over the frequency for the desired effect.

The Alpha wave frequencies are ideal for calming the mind and entering into a “dreamy” state and thereby causing it to be receptive to auto suggestion.

Mental Health and Brain Waves

It seems that people with ADHD spend more time in the theta state than normal. Theta Waves are associated with states of enhanced creativity and learning, deeper relaxation, strong intuition, problem solving and daydreaming. They dominate our brain wave activity when we are unable to concentrate, it seems that people with ADHD are not able to shift out of theta waves when they need to focus and may use hyperactive behavior to help reach a beta wave state.

Theta Waves seem to lead to deeper emotional connections, whereas too long in beta state leads to becoming detached and forgetting your natural emotions. Interestingly it seems that musicians, painters, designers, or anyone creative has more theta waves than average. There are ways we can change our mental states with meditation, neuro-feedback, medications, listening to binaural beats & brain “entrainment” CDs or even just taking a walk in the park. There was a (1989,1991) study done of 14 alcoholic outpatients using the Peniston and KulKosky brainwave treatment protocol for alcohol abuse. The experimental subjects completed 20 40-minute sessions of alpha-theta brainwave neuro feedback training (BWNFT). Subjects suffering from alcohol abuse with depressive syndrome showed sharp reduction in self-assessed depression (Beck’s Depression Inventory). Similar test has been which also showed significant decreases in the BR scores: Schizoid, avoidant, dependent, histrionic, passive aggressive, borderline, anxiety, hypomanic, dysthymic, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, psychotic thinking, and psychotic depression. Twenty-one-month follow up data indicated sustained prevention of relapse in alcoholics who completed BWNT.

All of the current treatments for alcoholism and depression often involve some sort of medication along with general counseling. Within the current behavioral health approaches medication is also often prescribed. Lately however the focus has been shifting to a more mental and thought associated model in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

CBT is a psycho-social intervention that helps people learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on emotions and behavior.
In Other Words..

Most people are unable get out of their minds long enough to manifest their ideal reality. They get caught in a rut of negative thinking which leads to poor habits and behaviors that keep them stuck in their current negative condition perpetually. The problem is huge. Many people who struggle with mental illness and addiction as a direct result of their mental attitude and the ability to direct their thoughts and therefore change patterns of behavior.

Many self- help gurus and mental health experts such as Bob Proctor and others have addressed and explained the mind and the subconscious mind and exactly how and why your behavior is a direct result of what is deep down in your subconscious. There are apps such as Calm, Headspace, Aura and others which largely work to help calm the mind and relax the user. These apps all have over 1 million downloads and are becoming more and more popularized as celebrities are marketing and financing this approach.

What if there really was a way to reprogram your mind using your own voice?
That’s exactly what we’re proposing here. Using the technique of positive affirmations that redirect your mental attitude. The tones are there to give you the right frequency to take in the message. The panning effect from left to right creates the intention.

The Technique is called PAN3
What’s unique about the Pan3 app is that it not only works to calm the mind but also adds the additional feature which is your voice. The messages you send to yourself along with the meditative tone is what sets pan3 apart.

Pan3 is a unique concept which allows you, the user to use your own voice to create a panoramic recording. The panoramic recording or (panning) effect is achieved when you record 3 messages or affirmations. The first affirmation is sent to the right ear, the second through to the left and the third is sent to both left and right ears. This effect creates attention in the mind because your ears are now hearing 3 separate inputs in repetition, but they are panned left and right. This sequence is placed over a tone which is designed to make the mind more meditative or receptive. The tone last for 1 approximately one minute and your affirmations are repeated over the selected tone for that minute. This recording is then downloaded to your phone to be heard at your convenience.

PAN3 The I Am APP…

Intention is set through affirmation. Attention is created through the panning effect
Meditation tones are the sound bed for your mind to receive the message

The left ear hears one message which is then followed by another message coming in through the right ear and then a third message through both ears. This is the panoramic or Pan-3 effect.

WHAT IS THE PAN3 TECHNIQUE

The pan3 technique is a panoramic sound recording of your voice giving you mental suggestions.

The first recording is heard in the left ear, the second in the right ear and the third through both ears which is the pan3 effect.

When listening to your personal recording in this fashion in conjunction with the binaural frequency it allows your message to sink deeper into your subconscious mind.
