The government of Gujarat has launched MSME, which stands for micro small & medium enterprises to make Gujarat the hub for manufacturing. The goal of MSME is to provide ease of doing business, creating a business-friendly environment, providing active support to micro, small, and medium enterprises. MSME aims to establish the spirit of innovation and encourage entrepreneurship among the people and guide them in competing with today's globalized economy. Gujarat is known for its entrepreneurial spirit and vibrancy. With a new set of objectives, under MSME, Gujarat aims to provide incentives and assistance to SMEs while encouraging entrepreneurship. MSME will assist new and existing ventures in achieving environment-friendly manufacturing practices and supporting the ITES and IT industry. MSME aims to make Gujarat a globally competitive and innovative industrial destination that promotes sustainable development and inclusive growth. MSME will create employment opportunities for both skilled and unskilled workforce, thereby improving the standard of living and prosperity among the people of Gujarat.
