The non-profit charity organization seeks to provide high-quality education, vocational training, and practical life-skills to underprivileged children in Uganda

Poverty is one of the most complex problems that threaten the existence of more than half of the world’s population and its children that bear the brunt of it. According to UNICEF, approximately 22,000 children die each day due to poverty because they’re deprived of the basic necessities of life, such as food, health care, water, electricity, sanitation, and education. To lessen the impact of these unfortunate circumstances, a renowned charity foundation has stepped up to help the children in Uganda.
Missions Made Possible International is a charity organization founded by Judy Grim, who is on a mission to help the underprivileged and orphaned children in Uganda. Judy Grim, along with Richard Dunn has set up schools for orphans in a small town of Uganda called Mityana. The organization’s motto is to provide education to these children to provide them the necessary means required to climb out of poverty’s trap.
The organization has introduced several educational programs to promote classroom learning as well as practical life-skills that will allow the children to secure their future. The children are taught basic English and Math and receive vocational training for activities such as art, poultry farming, agriculture, sewing, textiles, water filtration, and much more. This enables these children to develop life-skills that can be used to get jobs and earn a livelihood, which consequently improves their economic and social standing in society.
A spokesperson from the organization said, “The Namembezi Primary School has over 400 schools out of which a 100 are orphaned. This means that these children have been doomed to live a life of poverty from a very young age because they don’t have anyone to teach them how to sustain themselves. Keeping this in mind, our schools provide them the necessary education and vocational training they would require in the future when they’re on a path to make a life for themselves.”
The organization makes use of charity and donations to fund the good work it’s been doing for the underprivileged children in Uganda. It allows the donor to pick between funding the school and sponsoring the education for a child. You can find out more about their usage of funds and the process of donating by getting in touch with the organization through their official website.
