EA Sports has released a fresh batch of FIFA 14 next-gen details and screenshots ahead of the Xbox One and PS4 launch title's release next month.

The publisher says the next-gen editions of this year's series entry will benefit from a ton of enhancements, all of which are detailed below, straight from the horse's mouth.

UK retailer GAME will offer ￡40 credit on Xbox 360 and PS3 copies of FIFA 14 when traded for Xbox One or PS4 versions of the game. Multiple US retailers are also offering deals to allow FIFA 14 owners to trade up for as little as $10.

FIFA 14 players can transfer their Ultimate Team roster from current to next-gen platforms of the same family, so PS3 to PS4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox One. They'll be able to access their Ultimate Team roster, in-game items and in-game currency from either console. All changes made in the popular online mode will be reflected on both platforms, so players will be able to compete with their squads on either.

The new FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Legends mode will be exclusive to Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It will let players craft their Ultimate Team using a mixture of legendary players and today's stars.
