Lanham, MD -- 03/25/2013 -- Through its charitable effort, Genet Press representing authors Allain Ngwala and Mayi Ngwala has partnered with Worldreader and has donated limited distribution rights to the novel Congo: Spirit of Darkness to Worldreader to help promote literacy in the developing world. The novel, which was nominated for Outstanding Literary Work by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards, is the authors’ first title on the darkest period of Africa’s history. The authors tell the story of their nation’s fraught history in a captivating title that evokes the cultural richness of their now adulterated homeland and preserving Congo’s original beauty for future generations.
