Chamarajnagar, Karnataka State, 3rd SEP '15: Bandipur National Park is one of the India's best known Sanctuaries, and is a critical Project Tiger reserve. It is situated in the Chamarajanagar area of Southern Karnataka in South India, and is near to the Mudumalai National Park, which is situated in the state of Tamil Nadu, the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala, and the Nagarahole National Park to the northwest.
