MIAMI (January 7, 2020) – David Silver, CPA, TEP, has been named a principal in MBAF’s Tax and Accounting Department in the firm’s New York office. The announcement was made by Tony Argiz, chairman and CEO of MBAF, a top 40 public accounting firm.

Silver offers over a decade of experience in the accounting industry. His expertise includes transactional planning such as due diligence, operational and structural analysis as well as providing tax, accounting, and consulting services to international and domestic corporations, partnerships, and high net worth individuals across an array of industries. He also assists clients with pre-immigration, expatriation, and tax structuring to achieve maximum worldwide income and estate tax efficiency. Additionally, Silver has been involved in trust and estate planning for U.S. beneficiaries of foreign trusts and foreign beneficiaries of U.S. trusts and has worked with Federal and State tax controversies including the offshore voluntary disclosure program (OVDP) and Streamline Disclosure program.

Outside of MBAF, Silver is an active member at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and serves as a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) at the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Silver received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Finance at Florida State University.
