Grace Evangelical Church is an evangelical Christian church located in Hamilton. The church is a warm place to connect with other believers, for prayer, and for being encouraged by the preaching of the Word of God. They are committed whole heartedly to the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour, and to the Bible as God’s word. They are a fellowship for Christian believers who encourage and support one another in their Christian lives.

The word “Grace” in their name means that as Christian believers they recognize their relationship with God is entirely the result of his free grace and mercy. This experience of grace is the basis of their worship, in which they glorify and rejoice in a loving God, in thankfulness for the blessing that Lord Jesus Christ has given to them. They believe that it is only be this “grace” that anyone can come to God.

“Evangelical” is derived from the Greek word which means Good news or Gospel. In Christianity, the Gospel is also known as the Good news. Grace Evangelical Church believes that the Christian faith is based on the four critical points, which are the Bible alone, by Grace alone, through faith alone, for the glory of God alone. As an evangelical church, they preach and teach that it is by “God’s grace that we are saved, through faith in Christ, and even that is not of ourselves, but is a free gift of God.” (Eph 2:6)

Grace Evangelical Church is an evangelical church with group of true Christian followers who seek the Lord Jesus Christ and proclaim his gospel with faith. They meet every Sunday in Bankwood Primary School in Hamilton at 10.30 a.m. and a special prayer meeting is held every Wednesday. Anyone is welcome to attend the services.
