Qtopiaville Entertainment/Nunn Better Productions adds Hollywood newcomer Marlo Richardson to their roster of heavy hitters. The company’s first female executive will be responsible for the company’s content, and communication strategies.

This newcomer to Hollywood doesn't have the typical background of most Hollywood Executives and Producers. Marlo Richardson was a 19-year veteran manager in law enforcement that supervised over one hundred police officers and sergeants in Los Angeles. Her educational background is in Law, Business, PR, and Public Policy. She was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown in 2015 as a Commissioner to the State of California before becoming a partner and producer for Qtopiaville/Nunn Better Productions, Inc.

“Working in Hollywood is one of those things that many people in Los Angeles aspire to do, but many do not get the opportunity. I had gone into law enforcement because I believed that is was a vehicle that would allow me to create change. Entertainment allows me to impact people through content. We have projects with Martin Lawrence, and Comedian Red Grant. I’d love to add Tiffany Haddish to a feature. I am excited and grateful for this opportunity to lead, create and produce amazing content with amazing people. I am glad that my partners saw value in adding me to the team.”

Qtopiaville/Nunn Better Productions have written and produced films such as Family Reunion with Lela Rochon, Thin Ice with Cuba Gooding Jr., and the Big Momma’s House franchise and Bad Boyz with Martin Lawrence. Some of their television series written and produced were Family Ties with Michael J. Fox, and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. to name a few.
