The award winning London show, Thriller Live is running with packed houses at the magnificent Lyric Theatre. Since January 2009, the spectacular London musical has become a complete treat for Michael Jackson’s lovers. The show is a grand tribute as well as celebration of the King of Pop. The show features some memorable musical numbers from both The Jackson Five and Michael as a solo artist.
Thriller Live features some superb musical numbers like "I Want You Back", "Smooth Criminal", "Billie Jean" etc. In August 2006, the original production was previewed at the Dominion Theatre in London's West End. This was followed by a short and successful UK and European tour under the direction and choreography by Kerys Nathan.
The original cast of Thriller Live comprises of Pop Idol singer Zoe Birkit featuring in one of the adult singing roles. Young Shaheen Jafargholi, star of Britain's Got Talent as the young Michael Jackson also featured in the show. Under the direction and choreographed by Gary Lloyd, Thriller Live made its opening at the Lyric theatre. Earlier, the show was scheduled to close later but after the singer's demise on June 25th 2009 it gathered immense attention. Thriller Live is still enjoying houseful shows at the Lyric theatre.
