Lizzie Grover and her co-founding team came up with a visualizing app, which takes picture of your space and will send back a virtual design showing how the space would look if they purchased the items shown in the recommended section.

Growing with a mantra “Fail Fast, Fix Fast, Learn Fast” is something Lizzie Grover really encourages in herself. She strongly believes that whenever you inevitably come across the issues, it’s all about learning from those failures, picking yourself back up and continuing to move forward. Pertaining to her education credentials, Lizzie Grover is a George Washington University Graduate who went ahead to London to bring out her ideas about interior designing.

Lizzie Grover’s co-founded company Hutch, helps people in virtually redesigning their living space. Hutch is an interior decorating app who initially had helped college students and young professionals to redecorate their space at low prices. The app was mostly manual but showed a promising future. Hutch also has a cool before and after feature that lets you drag a slider between your submitted picture and the virtual design.

Further, the app allowed the clients to chat with the designer, as a consultation. This consultation session helped in recognizing the client’s taste, style, and budget, but doing it manually was still expensive. The team later realized that while it easier for users to chat with a designer, as most people just wanted to quickly see how they can decorate their space and buy furniture.
