Lithium Extraction Works are taking the necessary steps with remote meetings and limited travel and senior management working from home, whilst the company has also implemented mobile quarantine units at Lithium Extraction Works’ project sites to prevent contamination during shift changes.

Lithium Extraction Works’ Executive Vice Chairman, Mr. Arturo Ortega commented on the contingency plan saying “Although Lithium Extraction Works operations have not been materially impacted by the spread of COVID-19, we as a company have taken preventative measures to protect the health of our employees at all of our sites.”

“We identified which employees can work from home and allowed them to create a home office and meetings have been replaced with videoconferences. First aid rooms in Lithium Extraction Works operational facilities have an activation protocol for COVID-19 cases. If the company identifies an employee who has symptoms, the protocol will be applied,” added Arturo Ortega, Executive Vice Chairman of Lithium Extraction Works.
