Hong Kong – LEMed (Leading Edge Medical Treatments, Ltd.), the Hong Kong based specialist stem cell and medical laser therapy research and distribution group has been formally invited to attend the 9th International Congress on Medical Laser Applications, an annual event organized by ISLA (International Society for Medical Laser Applications), to be held in Beverungen, Germany from June 27th to 29th, 2014.

Dr. Michael Weber, ISLA President, founder of Weber Medical and a senior member of the Leading Edge Medical Treatments Science Advisory Board has expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event saying that the congress represents a unique opportunity to speak to and learn from some of the leading lights in medical laser therapy.

Mr. Don Margolis, Managing Director at Leading Edge Medical Treatments was quick to point out that several lectures to be given at the congress would deal with treatments that combine medical lasers with stem cell-based therapies.

“We continue to make advances with our own research into proprietary combination therapies and this has proven to be immensely promising. Nevertheless, we are not so complacent as to believe there is little or nothing that we can learn from other luminaries in this field,” Mr. Margolis said.

“LEMed will be paying particular attention to lectures and presentations dealing with the treatment of chronic diseases like Lyme disease, by leveraging the power of intravenous laser therapy because the results will incorporate Dr. Weber’s own findings on studies conducted using the new yellow laser,” concluded Mr. Margolis.
