Major brands add their voice to support Latino businesses

The list of major brands continues to grow longer as more giants from a range of industries across the nation are adding their names to the support of Latino business owners and entrepreneurs in the States. Over recent years, the financial influence of this minority group, now the largest of all minority groups in the USA has grown to quite a substantial percentage of the national economy. Traditionally, the economic force stemmed from the strong presence the ethnic group had as workers and consumers, but today more and more are starting their own businesses, registering new business entities and contributing to the job market.

“We noticed a need to help Latino entrepreneurs to excel. It is an ethnic group who is hungry to work harder and achieve more. Through the financial achievements of Latinos and the contribution the group can make, the entire nation is benefitting. Yet, there was a lack of business skills, guidance and access to financial support and capital. Now we are working towards changing this situation,” says Andrea Trujillo, director of brand digital marketing at L’ATTITUDE.

Since 2018, L’ATTITUDE is working hard to inform open-minded corporates about the multitude of possibilities awaiting them when they invest in Latino entrepreneurs. The team has managed to get names such as United Airlines, Pepsi, Microsoft and Wells Fargo on board to put their weight in the form of funding and sharing advice, guidance and insights behind the Latino entrepreneurs in the States. By sharing their business acumen at virtual events, acting as speakers and answering the questions which were raised, the Latino community now has access to far more investment capital and the guidance to steer towards success.

“One of the most prominent ways how we assist is through interactive virtual meetings. It enables the masses to join in and thanks to the support of our partners in media companies and advertising agencies, we were able to host more than 24 to date. These meetings are vital to providing Latino entrepreneurs with the vital guidance needed to succeed,” Trujillo further expands.

The latest statistics reveal that Latinos are presenting 18.3% of the total population in the States. Many of them reside in California, due to its geographical location and the strong bonds the State has with countries in Central and South America. Yet, while California is still the state where Spanish and the Hispanic culture is the most evident, Latinos are spread across the entire country and the highest population of Latinos you’ll find in New York City.
