[Toowong, 13/10/2016] – Themed after a 1920s speakeasy, the Walrus Club at the Regatta Hotel provides their guests with a place out of The Great Gatsby. Designed to exude authenticity and history, this is just one of the many function rooms offered by the hotel.

The Walrus Club Transports Guests Back to the 1920s

The Walrus Club is one of the hotel’s special function rooms, as the designers themed this entirely after a 1920 speakeasy. With tall tables, dimly lit nooks and cosy lounges, this place looks like a scene out of the pages of The Great Gatsby. Candles and lamps illuminate the room and it has vintage-wares all around, providing guests with a timeless venue. The hotel offers the use of this function room for private events.

The Ladies Lounge and Temperance Lounge has a maximum capacity of 70 guests and are available for exclusive use for celebrations during trading times. The Walrus Club Exclusive, however, accommodates 250 guests and is available for use during outside trading hours upon request.

Open three times a week, the Walrus Club is open from Thursday to Saturday from 5pm until late.
