Falls diese Angaben korrekt gewesen sein sollten, werden hierzulande 179 Euro für die 32-Gigabyte-Version und 239 Euro für die 64-Gigabyte Ausführung fällig werden.Lenovo hat heute Abend seine neueste Convertible-Entwicklung der Yoga-Reihe mit Windows 10 präsentiert, das Yoga 900-13. Eine echte Überraschung ist die Neuvorstellung des chinesischen Herstellers nicht, da Details zu dem Gerät bereits vor einigen Wochen durchgesickert waren. Das vermindert den Charme des neuen Yoga-Modells allerdings in keiner Weise. Lenovo selbst beschreibt es als den weltweit schlanksten Convertible Laptop mit Intel Core i Prozessor.

Für das Yoga 900-13 hat sich Lenovo daran gemacht, sein bekanntes 2-in-1-Design noch einmal kräftig zu überarbeiten und dabei den Fokus insbesondere auch auf den Faktor Performance zu legen. Schon nach nur einer Generation ist die Zeit der Intel Core m Chips im Flaggschiff-Convertible des chinesischen Herstellers abgelaufen. So kommen im Yoga 900 ganz anders als noch beim Yoga 3 Pro die leistungsstarken Intel Core i5 oder Core i7 Prozessoren zum Einsatz, die natürlich zur aktuellen 6. Core-Generation (Skylake) gehören. Um diese Rechenkraft in einem nur 14,9 MIllimeter dicken Mobil-PC ausreichend kühlen zu können, hat Lenovo das Kühlsystem eigenen Angaben nach um 30 Prozent verbessert. Dank einer ausgeprägten thermischen Lösung und neu gestaltetem Entlüftungssystem soll es sowohl effizienter als auch leiser arbeiten.Mit den Vorgängern gemein hat das Yoga 900 die besonders bewegliche Scharnierkonstruktion, die aus mehr als 800 miteinander verbundenen Einzelteilen besteht und es erlaubt, das Gerät in vier Nutzungsmodi (Laptop, Stand, Tent oder Tablet) zu verwenden. Allerdings will Lenovo auch in diesem Bereich Feintuning vorgenommen haben, was sich in spürbar gleichmäßigeren Bewegungen beim Auf- und Zuklappen des Displays äußern soll.

Ab Donnerstag, den 29. Oktober 2015 wird es wieder einmal ein Notebook von Medion bei Aldi Nord und Aldi Süd zu kaufen geben. Diesmal handelt es sich um das Medion Akoya E6418 (MD 99620), das mit einem Intel Core-Prozessor der 5. Generation (Broadwell), einer 128 Gigabyte großen SSD und Windows 10 aufwarten kann. Der empfohlene Verkaufspreis für das 15,6-Zoll-Gerät wird bei knapp 600 Euro liegen.Das Akoya E6418 (MD 99620) ist das neueste Modell in der bereits bestens bekannten E64xx-Serie von Medion. Angetrieben wird es von dem Dual-Core-Chip Intel Core i5-5257U, der mit einer Taktfrequenz von 2,7 bis 3,1 Gigahertz arbeitet und eine Grafikeinheit vom Typ Intel Iris Graphics 6100 integriert. Dem Prozessor zur Seite stehen 6 Gigabyte RAM, ein 44-Wh-Akku, die eingangs erwähnte 128-Gigabyte-SSD für das neue Microsoft-Betriebssystem und wichtige Programme sowie schließlich auch noch eine klassische 1-Terabyte-Festplatte für beispielsweise Datensicherungen oder die Mediensammlung. Das verbaute 15,6 Zoll große IPS-Display löst mit 1920 x 1080 Pixel auf.
