The common baggage limit is 15 kg therefore everyone is advised not to pack so many things.

1.) Mosquito spray: it’s a wise thing to pack at least a small bottle of mosquito spray and insect repellent.

2.) Stick with beige to khaki colours just like colonials used to do. They did it for a reason.

3.) If you are in an elegant hotel or will want to attend programs during Safari in kenya, pack an evening outfit that’s more elegant.

4.) Sunblock is an absolute must

5.) Pack a flashlight or headlamp and extra batteries. So a sudden electricity outage would not leave you in the dark.

6.) Binoculars: so that you can see the animals even from afar

7.) Passport and visa requirements

You need to check out the visa and passport requirements to your respective country for Kenya safari tours. One thing is for sure: you need to check that your password is valid at least 6 months counting from your date of entering Kenya and also, you need to check if you have at least two blank pages left in your passport for local authorities to validate.

8.) Visa requirements
If you are from the EU, United States, Canada or Australia you will also need a tourist visa for Kenya safari packages. Therefore you will need to visit the nearest embassy to get a visa or apply for an e-visa which you can also do online. Additional necessities for the application include two standard passport sized photographs and respective copies of your reservation of accommodation and any other programs you are taking part in. If you have run out of time and forgot about the visa, you can also obtain one upon arrival.

9.) Travel essentials
Depending on the season you travel for Kenya safari you are recommended to pack lightly (15 kg is the max allowance on flights) we strongly advise you to carry mosquito repellent spray, a sun crème with a strong SPF. Note that passengers are not allowed to carry plastic bags into Kenya.
