Karlsruhe, Germany, February 24, 2014 -- Mirco and Manuel Sicca, who have been collecting classical and antique. guitars for many years, have opened a shop in Karlsruhe, Germany (Address: Roonstr. 31, 76137 Karlsruhe).
Manuel and Mirco Sicca’s interest in guitars, their masters and the art of making those instruments was early piqued by their father Mario Sicca, the well-known Italian classical guitarist, who studied with Karl Scheit in Vienna and went on to teach in Vienna and at the Basel Academy of Music, before becoming professor of guitar at both, the universities of Karlsruhe and Stuttgart.
The huge variety of beautiful instruments which was owned by their father was the reason for the brothers’ arising interest in historic and classical guitars. A consequence of this passion was the steadily increasing guitar collection which is in part presented on their website.
New offers, reports, videos, and events dealing with the topic of the guitar are constantly updated. The implementation of a newsletter, for which everybody can subscribe on their webpage, was only the next logical step for the brothers in order to deliver information to those who are interested in guitars and related topics.
However, after some years the passion for guitars turned into a profession for Mirco and Manuel. Their ambition is to offer guitarists as well as collectors a wide range of rare classical and antique guitars.
