Renowned builder Harry Coumnas recently shared his plans of building an underwater restaurant in Cape Town, where he spent most of his childhood before moving to The United States when he was twelve years old. As shared by him with a leading news channel, the restaurant will be 18 feet below the sea level where cuisines of different countries will be served. Harry wants to leave no stone unturned for providing a truly unique & unforgettable experience to the guests. He is confident that he would be successful in setting one-of-its-kind trend for dining in the country.

With splendid interiors, layout, and architecture, Harry Coumnas’ underwater restaurant will also incorporate a bar featuring unique menus. Talking about the bar, he shared with the news channel, “It will be the first restaurant to have an underground wine cellar in South Africa, with some of the world class chefs & winemakers on board. The restaurant will be 180 meters below the surface, offering 180-degree panoramic views of the amazing coral gardens surrounding it.” Harry has also taken into consideration the restaurant’s safety under water by hiring world-class architects and engineers for his dream project.
