American President Donald Trump will target IT subcontracting businesses when he directs a re-evaluation of H-1B visa systems to favor a greater number of trained and highly paid candidates.

A government authority who informed media ahead of the review mentioned Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp., Tata Consultancy Services and Mphasis Corp. as instances of subcontracting firms that would probably be granted a smaller number of visas once the government’s visa program amendments are implemented.

Trump will publicize the directive during a visit to Wisconsin along with orders to federal agencies to inspect their buying systems to more efficiently favor the procurement of U.S. products. Two government officers described the orders for journalists on condition of maintaining anonymity because they are not working for the departments directly involved in the matters.

Trump’s campaign ran on undertakings that he would utilize the presidential authority to urge businesses to purchase U.S. goods and hire local labor. Government authorities have represented the visa order as going some way towards fulfilling these campaign promises.

The revised order implores agencies to recommend concepts to direct visas(which at this time are awarded by means of lottery) to the higher paid and greater skilled candidates. It does not state any essentials regarding how to reach the directive.
