WORCHESTER, MA — [b]Joseph Samra[/b] is the oldest son in a baby boomer family of five children. After his father died, Samra went to work in a warehouse, until an injury to his back left him temporarily out of a job. While he was recuperating from his injuries, he applied to and was ultimately accepted at the law school at Suffolk University. Upon graduation, Samra worked for a small law firm, gaining the experience he needed to eventually establish his own law firm—a true American bootstrap story.

At Suffolk University, Samra earned his law degree and became an attorney within the state of Massachusetts in 1988. He has been practicing law within the greater Boston area for 29 years.

Samra has his own law firm in Worchester, Massachusetts. He practices several different areas of law, including divorce, real estate, insurance, and general practice. His guiding philosophy is helping every client understand their situation and possible legal options, so they know what to expect from the process. He prides himself on treating every client with dignity and respect.

Samra stays very busy managing his own firm, but when he has down time, he enjoys spending it with his family. He is a proud father to four children and he wants to help them grow up to be upstanding citizens. One of his main personal aspirations is to watch them all grow up and walk across the stage at their college graduation, before pursuing their own careers.

For recreation, Samra enjoys boating, gardening, and practicing his marksmanship. He is also an experienced hiker and has explored many trails on the East Coast, as well as other places in California and the West. He recommends exploring the Yosemite Valley and Glacier National Park in Montana. One day, he would love to explore every hiker’s dream—the Patagonia region, where he can take in glacial fjords and temperate rainforests.
