It is a firm which was started in 1997 in Texas. It comprises more than 2000 employees. The organization specializes in coffee processing and packaging. Just like any other company, Real Coffee has an internal environment. It simply refers to those factors the firm has direct control over which includes human resources, research and development, production, marketing, finance and organizational culture.
An organization cannot be functional without the people in it. A skilled workforce increases the chances of success. This is a very critical aspect of the internal organization. Companies have a human resource department responsible for analyzing the environment, setting objectives and also controlling the firm's operations. Thus, it is only imperative that these tasks are assigned to skilled personnel. My organization comprises over 2000 employees. The human resource department consists of 20 managers who are vetted every 6 months. This promotes accountability and the need to make right decisions. The individuals in the department are responsible for supervising and setting objectives for the rest of the employees. This coordinates workflow and promotes better output within the organization which translates to success.
Technology is advancing every day and only the efforts of individuals of the human resource department can keep the company at the forefront of success. They can include focusing on product improvement to match the market demands, controlling costs or suggesting advances in technology in the production sector. The Real Coffee organization has this department too. A group of 5 experts is in charge of analyzing the technological needs of the company and presenting their suggestions to the management for approval. The team studies the external trends of competitors and the progress of the substitutes so as to suggest better strategies to protect the interests of the organization. Constructive technological suggestions improve the performance of a company which is a perfect step to achieving the set goals. Real Coffee organization also focuses on fulfilling its aims by the use of technology.
Production is one of the major areas of a business. This sector has a lot of influence in the organization from marketing to finance. A company will have a higher market share than the rest when it produces high quality products at a low cost. This eases the financial strain of the organization due to increased cash flow. Relatively, a weak production function negatively impacts the company's market. The above mentioned organization specializes in the coffee output and its aim is to dominate the other companies making high-quality products at lower costs. Having done this, it can acquire the higher number of customers that can guarantee its success accordingly.
Marketing is another factor that is closely related to production. The corresponding department is responsible for analyzing the market trends, preferable tastes, the consumer needs and perceptions. This can then guide the setting of prices and the distribution strategies and channels. The changes in consumer preferences and demographics are closely monitored by this team. Real Coffee has a marketing department comprising 3 managers. They regularly recruit individuals to carry out observations, interviews or even distribute questionnaires so as to determine consumer preferences. The findings then dictate how the company will process the coffee to meet the buyers demands. This way, Real Coffee manages to stay at the top of the market.
The finance department is responsible for examining, planning and controlling the financial aspects of the organization. Healthy cash flow within a company is a sign of success. This department in Real Coffee organization regularly audits the financial accounts and reports to the management regarding the progress in that sector. The above mentioned unit in every company is meant to serve all its departments making it a vital organizational factor. Managers audit balance sheets and financial statements to determine and control capital in the firm. This then ensures healthy cash flow is maintained to prevent bankruptcy within the organization.
Organizational culture is the environment that influences the behavior and relationships of people in the workplace. This notion is important since it dictates why the company was started, what it needs to achieve and the factors it deems important. The culture comprises unrecorded rules, virtues and interpersonal behavior. This then influences how people communicate in the organization and how decisions are made. Culture dictates how employees feel about the company and the work they do. This has a direct impact on the performance of the workers in terms of achieving the organizational goals. This aspect also requires the input from managers to dictate the importance of company's values to the employees. Proper maintenance of the organizational culture will promote smooth workflow within the organization and thus lead to success.
Real Coffee organization has created a positive culture for its employees to encourage teamwork. The values of the company are clearly outlined and the management team is always open for consultation. In this organization, the unwritten rules regarding how to dress, when to take a vacation and when to consult the managers are keenly observed by the employees. This has brought unity and harmony into the firm promoting an effective working environment full of positivity and encouragement. Every employee works towards achieving the company's goals. This culture at Real Coffee organization serves to support the improvement of the firm to obtain better results.
The success of an organization and the satisfaction of its employees can be greatly attributed to the internal environment of the company. Factors such as human resources, research and development, production, marketing, finance and environmental culture play a great role in influencing the direction of the firm. Real Coffee organization specializes in coffee processing and positive culture inculcated in it has seen its improvement over the years. Proper financial management and the efficient production process have promoted its success.
