The perks of attending Centennial College's Business Administration - Marketing program go well past receiving a respected Ontario College Advanced Diploma. Students also have the opportunity to obtain membership privileges with the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) and use their credits towards obtaining a university degree with one of Centennial's university partners.

This business marketing training offers students the training they need to launch careers across the entire span of available marketing jobs. Among their options are: marketing coordinator, marketing analyst, promotions assistant, sales representative, assistant brand manager, and public relations assistant.

The range of jobs for which graduates are prepared comes from the well-rounded training to which they are exposed at Centennial College. Prior to covering specialized marketing topics, the program begins with a common first-year curriculum for most Centennial School of Business. This provides students with a solid base with which to master specific marketing topics, such as strategic marketing planning, B2B marketing and channel management, consumer analysis, brand management, interactive marketing, professional selling, marketing communications and more.

The business marketing program compounds theoretical training with various hands-on activities that include case studies, guest lectures, presentations, projects, and computer simulations and technologies. One particular practical aspect is an industry project during which students work in teams on a project that is sponsored by an entrepreneurial endeavour, small business or major company.

To further ensure that students are comfortable with the topics they learn at Centennial, the college is a proud sponsor of selected marketing students in national and province-wide academic competitions, including the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition (OCMC), BDC and CMA competitions.
