IEQS Group, Poonmallee, Chennai, India Dec 20, 2019- There are numerous and varied NDT courses in Chennai training center programs offered today. Space limitations do not permit them all to be included here, but a good source of the many training organizations are offered in south India. Conventional methods are techniques that have matured over the course of decades and in this time, have become well-documented in codes, standards, and best practices. The setup and procedure of a conventional technique are typically simpler in comparison to advanced methods. Advanced methods tend to be less understood as they progress as emerging technologies. Overall, NDT offers many advantages compared to destructive testing.

Destructive Tests Material

The testing equipment is often portable and can be performed numerous times on a single component. The component itself can be thoroughly evaluated externally and internally for harmful flaws. Some destructive tests are often used to determine the physical properties of materials such as impact resistance, ductility, yield, and ultimate tensile strength, fracture toughness and fatigue strength, but discontinuities and differences in material characteristics are more effectively found by NDT.
