The Corona Virus is Boosting the Propensity of Creativity En Masse

Discovering new music and art during our national quarantine is making me appreciate life a lot more. The song 'The Storm' by Ollie D featuring Canaanite and DJ Say So has illuminated my darkness. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

Will there be a profusion of uncontrollable content created reflecting on society's paradigm shift? Our perception of the world has been slammed by an invisible meteor, which has been prophesied by many
SOCIAL PERCEPTION
Quarantining gives a new meaning to self-loathing - that's for sure. Social distancing has really boosted my social presence, however. (how ironic) In this new world of ever-expanding posts every nanosecond, I see a new theme emerging among all genres of art. I especially love the visual and auditory type. I ran across an incredible mural painted that merged Trump and Covid19! It was totally amazing and received insane amounts of thumbs.
DISCOVERING NEW MUSIC
Continuing on my journey into this emerging paradigm shift and incessant virus ramblings, I managed to discover an instant gem. At first, I was captivated by the intoxicating rhythm of the music itself. Instant gratification to my ears. As the melodies sifted through the air like the sweet aroma coming from grandmother's kitchen, there was a sense of nostalgia in it. I was hooked.
Finding this song was vindication that perseverance can yield unsuspected results. In my case, the perfect remedy for the virus-induced cabin fever. I don't know about you, but I am allured by a positively contagious message. The last thing I would want to hear is how bad the world is and the doom and gloom that plays so well in the FAKE NEWS media.
NEW SONG: THE STORM
Ollie D (the producer), must be applauded for keeping the song simple and airy. The format is commercially appealing and traverses all demographics with ease. Therein lies one of the reasons I picked up on it immediately. A major factor for rating music according to my stringent standards is having space for the mind to comprehend the overall aesthetics of the sound framework. In other words, do all the components fit together or are they artificially coerced?
What the listener will witness right away is the classic feel of flow between the lyrical melody and the music's melody. The instruments are conversating with the singer. There are many examples of this since the beginning of time. These types of songs tend to have a lasting impression on their audience long after novelty wears off.
FEATURED ARTIST(S)
Nowadays it is nearly impossible to release a song without pop culture's mark on it. Canaanite's explosive rap in the song is phenomenal. Complimented by some classic hip hop sound elements, and you have a recipe for commercial viability. It's the content of the lyrics that really makes the listener into a fan. Mending words is an art and it appears Canaanite engenders this quality. The message is powerful and very positive.
DJ Say So along with Soul Fyah Productions pulled off a monster track to back any artist willing to step to the mic. Producing the skeleton, so to speak, is the hardest part of the equation because it is the groove and the essence of it all. In terms of the reggae aspect, it's an undeniable heavy-hitter one drop.
CONCLUSION
I am looking forward to discovering more of these types of songs, music, art, reflecting on our prolific time in history while the population shares this experience. Always keep your thoughts positive and find a way to release any anxiety, preferably in your domain, without harming others - of course.
