Highlights the Work of the Government of Cospedal to Internationalize "Even More" our Wine Sector

Wine is the main export item of Castilla-La Mancha, with a turnover exceeding 763 million euros

 
Spain, May 05, 2013 - The Minister of Employment and the Economy of Castilla-La Mancha, Carmen Homemade, has highlighted the ongoing work that the Government is undertaking Cospedal to "increase exports in general, and to develop the wine industry in international markets in particular ".

In this sense, Casero recalled that "at this time, the wine is our main export item, with more than 763 million euros in turnover, representing 17 percent of total product."

In his view, "the wine industry has not yet found its roof in the international markets because, again in 2012, has increased by 17 percent the demand for wine in dozens of countries around the world."

Thus, as has highlighted the Minister of Employment and Economy, the government led by Maria Dolores Cospedal will participate in the National Wine Fair (FENAVIN), which will present 14 international buyers from those markets in which we operate, mainly China, Hong Kong, Russia, India and Canada.

Castilla-La Mancha involved with a modular stand 50 meters squares in format Business Center, to provide all the information buyers need them on the importance of nuestros wine.

From the Trade Promotion Institute (IPEX) is also conducted various seminars for companies on aspects of internationalization and foreign markets, with the aim of any sector or professional cellar to internationalize their products. Inside information actions, IPEX professionals develop a seminar on the wine market in China and the opportunities offered by new markets in Southeast Asia.

Also, a third seminar will focus on financial instruments for export of wine and another on the main distribution channels for wine. With the aim of providing service to buyers, the Trade Promotion Institute also launched during FENAVIN interpretation services in Chinese and English.

The Minister of Employment and the Economy has said that "the government led by Maria Dolores Cospedal committed overseas promotion activities during the 365 days of the year and, therefore, under our plan for 2013, we will organize at least 20 commercial activities, with the participation of approximately 300 wineries in Castilla-La Mancha, and market as important to us as USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany, Russia, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea South ".
