The object of the game is, of course, to get rid of all the tiles in your hand, and thus, create a domino. If a player can play his last tile, prior to laying his last tile on the board, he says, "Domino" and then places the tile on the board to signify that he has a domino and is out of the round.

The Rules of Draw
The game of draw dominoes starts with 28 tiles. The tiles are placed face down and shuffled by mixing them around with your hands. Each player then draws seven tiles, places them in their hand, and looks to see which tiles they have. Each player does this. The highest tile is the "double six," and the player that has this tile, places it on the board and then the person who is sitting next to them clockwise, then plays to the board. If no one has the "double six," the next highest tile, the "double five" plays. Each player then takes their turn, playing to either end of the line of dominoes. If the tile drawn cannot play to either end of the domino pile, they knock or rap to signify that they cannot play, and the turn is then passed to the next player.

Block Dominoes
Block Dominoes is played along the same principle as Draw Dominoes; however, the play does not include picking tiles from the bone yard. Therefore, if a person cannot match the end tile from a tile in their hand, they forfeit their play to the next player.
