International dating site Elena's Models introduced "Response rate" feature for users. The new function allows to see what share of messages the member has answered previously.

People utilizing online dating sites and apps often complain that users don't answer messages sent to them. Not getting any answers to chat requests and mails upsets clients and discourages them from initiating new contacts.
This is why dating site Elenasmodels.com decided to offer a window into how a person acts in general. The "Response Rate" feature takes into account all messages received by the user and shows what percentage got answered.

Basically, the smart algorithm reviews all communication. The following channels contribute to the score:

• Expressions of Interest (EOI)
• Mails
• Chat and video chat requests

The system makes scores available for all male and female profiles on the site. Amazingly, a number of Elena's Models users have the rate of replies that equals 100%. This would require quite a lot of effort from the member.

The new system allows participants to evaluate their prospects better.

• If a person responds to a low share of incoming mails, a client who is interested in them may decide against of initiating communication.
• Vice versa, if a client answers the majority of their messages, the chance of receiving an answer is higher.

The function only checks if a reply was sent at all. If a negative answer was rendered, the communication counts as a reply. Thus, the customer can still be picky but show 100% response rates.

Elena Petrova, the founder of Elenasmodels.com, pointed out that the dating site offered a similar feature before the 2014 system upgrade. The old version only considered replies to "Expression of Interest" icebreakers for the last 30 days. Now the client can accumulate higher scores over time if they tend to return their mails diligently.
