How the Envirowash System Works

Each unit has two parts –the filtration tank and the sink. These work by separating paint washings into clear water and solid paint. The spray gun washes rollers, paint trays, brushes, pots and anything else used in the process.

Once the unit is full, several treatment chemicals work to separate the solid matter and water from the paint washings. After 1-6 hours, paint sludge settle at the bottom while clear water remains atthe top of the tank.

The clear water can be recycled into other applications, but is no longer for drinking. It can now be safely used to water plants and grass. The system filters, dries and disposes the paint sludge as non-hazardous solid waste.
