Learn More About the Services we Offer in Lancaster, Pennsylvania - including our East Petersburg, PA office location:

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy starts with discussing your goals - including your family upbringing, relationship strengths & challenges, along with any traumas that you hope to move past. Together, we create a plan to work through issues with an estimated timeframe and frequency recommended to meet.
Typically, consistency is recommended for the first few sessions - either weekly or bi-weekly. When collaborating with other clinical professionals, this plan may be adapted accordingly.
Our therapists each use a blend of different strengths-based modalities and you can ask them to learn more about their theoretical background. At our practice - you will never be judged for your issues - and we’ll always work to meet you where you’re at to help achieve your goals.
Commonly treated issues include: depression, anxiety, increasing self-esteem, mood disorders, addictions, co-occurring disorders, along with sexual, trauma, and LGBTQ community issues.

Couples & Marriage Counseling
Every relationship can have challenging times. Our couples sessions will help you strengthen and rebuild your relationship with improved trust, understanding, and intimacy. Our therapists embrace an evidence-based approach to helping couples reconnect in order to strengthen your relationship.
Evidence-Based Practices including: Gottman Couples Counseling Interventions, AASECT Sex Therapy (American Association of Sexuality Educators & Therapists)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (utilizing strategies developed by Dr. Sue Johnson)
EMDR - Trauma Informed Interventions to help couples move past difficulties and challenges that may be impacting the relationship.
Ongoing couples counseling, intensive couples sessions, and collaboration with your individual therapist are always options available

Sex Therapy
Our practice commonly addresses sexual issues in both individual & couples counseling. All our therapists embrace the AASECT Sex Therapy Code of Ethics when treating our clients. Commonly treated sexual issues include: sexual anxiety, erectile dysfunction, low/absent sexual desire, sexual/pornography addiction, atypical sexual interests, kink, painful sex, and medical complications related to sexuality, and more. Feel free to read our blog to learn more about how mental health can impact sexuality in your relationship.

Trauma & EMDR Therapy
Be the best version of yourself - and move past any trauma in your life. EMDR therapy is recommended by leading organizations such as the World Health Organization & American Psychological Association as the most effective treatment for addressing trauma. Most of our clients report significant reduction in negative symptoms within just a handful of sessions. Learn more about EMDR trauma informed therapy practices: www.lauramorse.org/emdr.
