Gil Guevarra wrote 'HANGGANG TINGIN' in 2015 for His Friend.

The song is about a person who has been in love with his best friend for a quite a long time. He kept it with himself because he don’t wanna ruin the friendship. though sometimes he felt like telling it to her. He is sick and tired of her heartbroken stories. How he wish He is the one taking care of her. But what else can he do, he’s just a friend to her. He is still waiting for the right time to come. He needs more courage to tell His real feelings to Her. For now a friendship and to stay by her side is all that He can do.

Biography
Gil and the Axe Gang started in 2014 founded by Gil Guevarra and his brother Justin Guevarra primarily an acoustic duo playing Gil's original songs. In 2016 Jan Algwen Salazar (percussionist), Keith Ocampo (keyboardist) and his brother Joen Ocampo (drummer) and Jonathan Guevarra (Bassist) all from Bataan music scene, Forming Gil and the Axe Gang.
On August 2, 2019 Gil and the AxeGang release their very first single titled "Umaasa"

2020-Present breakthrough
Joel Jimenez (Bassist), JM Flores (Lead Guitar), RJ Ronquillo Asilo (Keyboardist), and Ruel Bugarin (Drummer) became the new member of the GIL and THE AXE GANG.

They set another goal for 2020 and released their second single entitled "CRAZY". An upbeat/danceable kind of music that listeners can easily jive. Good Thing about this band, the old members and the new members are friends. they just became a bigger family now.

Gil and the Axe Gang incorporates styles from RnB, Funk, Soul and Rock music combing each to form a new strain of sounds and create groove yet deep music.
