Santa Barbara, California – 01/October/2016 – It's great news for IPhone enthusiasts as DNA apps - a popular photo app design company has recently collaborated with the world’s largest library of animated GIFs – GIPHY, with a recent update to Gifx. The Giphy API allows users to search through the millions upon millions of Gifs in their database. Combined with Gifx which allows users to add fun animated GIFs & music to photos & videos you can begin to see where the magic happens. The collaboration between the two - GIPHY and Gifx is one of the biggest collaborations of 2016 for the Gif industry. Users will now be able to add any gif from Giphy’s massive online library to their photos or videos and instantly share them with friends & family..

IPhone users will be able to create projects that are tailor made to suit their conversations or specific occasion as they will have the entire Giphy database at their fingertips.

We talked to Creative Director of DNA Apps Derren Ohanian and asked him about the reasoning & benefits behind the collaboration. He said the main purpose of collaborating with GIPHY was to allow more creative expression of their users. They wanted to make the world’s largest library of animated GIFs available to all of their iPhone users. They added a GIPHY search option where by users can browse through Giphys entire database or select from the top trending topics of the day. Users can download an endless amount of GIFs add them to their photos and videos in creative ways. In closing he said, the collaboration will bring a new wave of animated gifs to the world.
