Das Ghost wird demnach das erste Blackberry, welches sich optisch an den „modernen“ Smartphones orientiert, also mit schmalen Rändern und einem 18:9-Display. Das Ghost wird nicht von Blackberry selbst hergestellt, sondern von dem Lizenznehmer Optiemus, welche bereits 1995 ihr erstes Smartphone in Indien verkauft haben. Dieser soll 4.000 mAh Kapazität fassen. Damit wäre dies der größte Akku, welcher jemals in ein Blackberry-Smartphone verbaut wurde – zumindest bisher. Scheinbar steht die Vorstellung des Ghost nahe bevor, denn die Optiemus-Webseite ist derzeit down mit dem Hinweis, dass der Hersteller gerade „an etwas Unglaublichem“ arbeite und bald wieder online gehe. Einen Wermutstropfen gibt es allerdings: Die Lizenzvereinbarungen geben vor, dass das Blackberry Ghost lediglich in den Ländern Indien, Sri Lanka, Nepal und Bangladesch verkauft werden darf. Im Sommer soll es erscheinen.Der AOC I1601FWUX ist keine Konkurrenz für ausgewachsene Monitore, sondern ein Spezialist für besondere Einsätze. Etwa wenn unterwegs fürs Notebook oder Windows-Tablet ein zweites Display gefragt ist. Dann freut sich der Nutzer über mehr Bildschirmfläche und stört sich nicht an der knappen Ausstattung oder der mittelprächtigen Bildqualität.
