HP hat gestern eine neue Rückruf-Aktion gestartet, welche den Austausch von einigen fest verbauten Laptop-Akkus beinhalten wird. Grund dafür sind Probleme mit Überhitzung, welche wiederum eine Gefahr für die Kunden darstellen kann.

Bei manchen dieser genannten Geräte ist der Akku fest verbaut, sodass er nicht vom Nutzer ausgetauscht werden kann. HP wird dafür einen Austausch bei einem offiziellen Vertragspartner anbieten, der für den Kunden kostenlos sein soll. Um zu überprüfen, ob euer Modell betroffen ist, hat der Hersteller ein HP Battery Program Validation Utility veröffentlicht. Falls ihr eines der oben genannten Modelle besitzt, empfehlen wir umgehend einen Download dieses Programms.

Der chinesische Computerhersteller Lenovo will mit dem V330 in Kürze ein neues Mitglied seiner vor allem auf ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ausgeliegten V-Serie von Notebooks für kleine Unternehmen und erfahrene Privatanwender auf den Markt bringen. Das Lenovo V330 mit 14 Zoll ist eines der ersten Laptops, die mit Windows 10 S vertrieben werden. Ein Highlight ist jedoch die Möglichkeit, trotz des niedrigen Einstiegspreises von 349 Dollar einen Zusatzakku einsetzen zu können.
Das Lenovo V330 14 wurde zwar bisher noch nicht offiziell angekündigt, wird aber vereinzelt bereits auf den Websites von Lenovo geführt. Das Gerät bekommt mit dem Lenovo V330-15 auch noch ein größeres Schwestermodell, das teilweise sogar schon im Handel zu haben ist. In beiden Fällen versucht der Hersteller einen klassischen Clamshell-Formfaktor mit einer ordentlichen, aktuellen Hardware-Ausstattung und einem sehr günstigen Preis zu vereinen.
Das V330 wird mit einem 14-Zoll-Display auf IPS-Basis ausgerüstet sein, das je nach Modell mit einer HD-Auflösung von 1366x768 Pixeln und einem Full-HD-Panel mit 1920x1080 Pixeln daherkommt, wobei hier kein Wert auf besonders schmale Ränder oder ähnliche Details meist teurerer Geräte gelegt wird. Stattdessen versucht man wohl lieber, maximalen Nutzen zu bieten, zum Beispiel durch die Möglichkeit, das Display vollständig bis auf den Tisch herunterklappbar zu machen.
