Die Tastatur des Schenker Slim 15 wirkt hochwertig und funktionierte im Testzeitraum problemlos. Alle Tasten sitzen fest an ihrem Platz und klappern nicht. Der Druckpunkt ist gut spürbar, und schnelles Schreiben geht gut von der Hand. Das Tippgeräusch ist hörbar, jedoch nicht als störend zu bezeichnen. Die Tasten bieten eine Auflagefläche von 15 x 15 Millimetern und haben eine gute Griffigkeit. Auch das Layout gefällt uns und wirkt durchdacht. Pluspunkte gibt es zudem für die Hintergrundbeleuchtung, welche fünf Helligkeitsstufen bietet.Der Mausersatz in Form eines Touchpads, welches außerdem Multitouch-Gesten unterstützt, bietet eine Eingabefläche von 10,5 x 5,2 Zentimetern. In den Ecken sowie am unteren Rand finden wir allerdings Bereiche, welche etwas ungenau arbeiten. Die separaten Eingabetasten erwidern Eingaben mit einem leisen und dezenten Klickgeräusch.

Das Display des Schenker Slim 15 stammt von LG und bietet eine Full-HD-Auflösung. Die Oberfläche des 15,6-Zoll-IPS-Panels ist matt und verhindert Spiegelungen komplett. Im Rahmen unserer Messungen erreichte das Display unseres Testgerätes mit 336 cd/m² ein gutes Ergebnis bei durchschnittlicher Displayhelligkeit. Auch die Ausleuchtung ist mit 93 % gut und deutlich besser als beim HP EliteBook 755. Der Schwarzwert liegt bei 0,3, was in Kombination mit der Leuchtkraft für ein gutes Kontrastverhältnis (1.110:1) reicht. PWM haben wir messen können, was aber auf Grund der sehr hohen Frequenz zu keiner Beeinträchtigung führen sollte. Lichthöfe sind bei unserem Testgerät kein Problem, ein Aspekt, den wir positiv in die Wertung mit einfließen lassen.
Die Displayqualität ist durchweg als gut zu bewerten. Die Farbraumabweichungen sind mit 4,7 (DeltaE-2000-Colorchecker) und 3,5 (DeltaE-2000-Graustufen) nur leicht erhöht. Beim Schenker Slim 15 handelt es sich um ein reines Office-Notebook, welches sich zum Arbeiten hervorragend eignet. Der moderne und sparsame Intel Core i7-8550U hat ausreichend Leistungsreserven. Mit den bereits verbauten 16 GB Arbeitsspeicher bekommen die Kunden ein sehr gut ausgestattetes Gerät. Nicht zu vernachlässigen ist der sehr schnelle Massenspeicher mit 512 GB Speicherplatz, welcher einen großen Anteil an dem flüssig laufenden System hat. Das günstigere Einstiegsgerät basiert leider nur auf einer herkömmlichen Festplatte, wovon wir allerdings abraten. Unsere Empfehlung ist eine Kombination aus SSD und HDD.
