Australian businesses take note! Working Mind Resilience Training is now offering stress management workshops. Working Mind Resilience Training is committed to supporting employees to better manage their stress. Their workshops, ranging in length from 60 minutes to a full day, are filled with practical tools staff can use while they work.

Restructures, deadlines, ever-increasing workloads: the office is filled with potential stressors. Learning how to effectively and efficiently combat stress is paramount to organisational success. We can’t avoid stress – it’s a necessary part of everyday life – but we can learn how to manage it more effectively, and this is where Working Mind Resilience Training comes in.

In these experiential workshop, participants develop their understanding of the effects of stress on body and mind, and discover how prolonged stress can lead to reduced health and performance at work. Management and employee alike will learn how to identify the early warning signs of stress and burnout, and discover simple techniques to minimise the long-term effects.

Working Mind’s stress management workshops are skills-based and interactive. Employees will learn how to switch off their ‘fight or flight’ stress response whenever they want to, and practice this skill during the workshop.
Working Mind believes in integration: skills and techniques are great, but only if we use them! The company has developed an app, for the exclusive use of their clients, where employees can access (and practice!) the stress management techniques they learned during the workshop.

Working Mind is owned and run by facilitators Will and Kylie Shacklock who collectively have over 30 years’ experience in resilience and stress management training. Their desire to support others to increase workplace productivity and engage more fully in their lives has catapulted Working Mind Resilience Training to the forefront of resilience and mental health training in Australia.
Will has been developing resilience programs, both privately and publically, for the past twelve years. Before his career as a corporate trainer, he worked in the planning and development industry. He is now committed to supporting employees to build their personal and professional resilience.

Kylie is an accredited mental health social worker, counsellor and facilitator, with more than 20 years’ experience providing stress management and lifestyle training services. Kylie now devotes her time to Working Mind, supporting individuals and workplace groups to better manage the challenges of life.
