FTP Global have now completed their security updates to all of their client log in facilities to ensure further protection to their clients and their client’s personal details. These updates were completed within the scheduled time and without any disruption being caused to their client’s online account access.

“Maintaining and protecting our client’s personal information is extremely important to us and to our clients. In response to the recent, much-publicized cyber-attacks of many companies we decided to increase our server’s security to ensure that we fully protect all client information held on file. Although we were not affected by the recent attacks we believe that prevention is better than cure, particularly when the information we need to protect is of a personal and sensitive nature,” said Russell Watson, technical support manager.

“The updates were carried out within the scheduled period and without any disruption to a client’s ability to access their online account portal. Some corporate clients did have amendments made to the manner in which they now need to access their online account, all of these clients have now been informed by their allocated account manager, and all of these accounts are performing as intended. However, please contact your allocated account manager directly should you have any queries or questions relating to your new online account portal,” Watson added.

FTP Global added that further updates to their secure server settings will be continually made as and when necessary in order to maintain their client’s information safe and secure from any potential cyber-attacks.
