Is Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Sultan al Nahayan above the law in the United Arab Emirates? In Peru he is not.

His highness, Sheik Sultan bin Khalifa bin Sultan al Nahayan, is a member of one of the richest families in the world in the UAE, and in possession of large fortunes. In July 2013, he signed a written agreement to invest in a mining area in the country of Peru. Unfortunately, he never followed through, broke his contract of investment, attempted to highjack the company and is now officially under investigations by the Peruvian authorities, who are requesting him to appear before the judicial authorities for prosecution procedures. But with the power and fortunes in the Sultans possession, he is attempting to bypass being subjected to the Peruvian authorities and attempting to escape responsibility.
