Greg Raap of Redondo Beach, Calif. has been named Vice President of Residential Property Management for Goldrich Kest, one of Southern California’s leading and most successful real estate companies. In that position, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the Culver City company’s residential portfolio.
Raap has 25 years of experience in real estate operations and management of conventional, affordable and military residential properties. Prior to joining Goldrich Kest, he served as Vice President of Hunt Military Communities, where he was responsible for the procurement, development, operations and partner relationships for approximately 17,000 homes/units for military families throughout the Western United States.
Before that, Raap held a similar position for Forest City Military Communities where he directed the start-up and operation of the 7,000-home Hawaii Military Communities project and managed the company’s Southern California affordable housing portfolio. He also has held supervisorial positions in operations and asset management for various Southern California residential real estate operators and investors.
In addition to having served on the Board of Directors for Pacific Housing Development, Inc., Raap is a member of the Institute for Real Estate Management and a Certified Property Manager candidate. He is a licensed California real estate broker, Charter Member of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers and member of the Professional Housing Management Association. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance, real estate and law from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona.
