Hello America, Welcome to the first day of Filterforfridge.com!! We are excited to get started with our partnership with Google, and hope this is a lifetime relationship in the making. Let me tell you about why I started a refrigerator filter website to begin with. One day my fridge was beeping, and a red light was blinking on, and off telling me that I had to replace my whirlpool filter. So I slid it out of the bottom grill, pushing the eject button, and low and behold it came out to where I could grab it, and retrieve it from the refrigerator. Noticed it was a Whirlpool 4396841. So I headed down to the big box store in town to get a new one. When I picked out the new filter, and headed to the check out. I was in sticker shock to find out the filter was going to cost me close to $50.00. I reluctantly purchased the filter, and headed home to snap it back in the Whirlpool refrigerator. Now I understand the importance of clean filtered water, and having clean filtered water is very important to my families health, and welfare. In this age of pollutants in our water supply I don't like to rely on someone else making sure my water is safe. And a refrigerator filter is our last line of defense to make sure we're consuming safe water. So I reinstalled the new water filter, and reset the filter button on the fridge. But the price kept nagging at me till I thought "there has to be a better way to purchase a water filter for less. And I researched until I found it.
