Motown The Musical is the story of the legendary career of Berry Gordy and the foundation of his musical empire, Motown Records. The story commenced in the year 1983 and was the evening of the 25th anniversary celebration of Motown. Berry was immensely inspired by his childhood hero, black American boxer Joe Louis, The young Berry aspires big and hopes one day to be happy and proud.
Later, he borrows $800 loan from his family, and founds a music-making factory, and launch the careers of artists such as Diana Ross and the Supremes, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and more. Hence, Motown made its debut!
