Poonhill is the second most famous viewpoint in Nepal and it is presiding only by Kalapatthar's viewpoint. The hilltop is one of the famous for the mesmerizing sunrise view from Poonhill. Poon Hill trek is considered to be one of the best treks in the Annapurna region that is providing an up-close and panoramic view of the entire Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri. It is beauty and adventure, the Poon Hill trek is also called the short Annapurna circuit.

5 Days Mardi Himal Trek Itinerary

The Mardi Himal trek 5 days is an easier trekking route in the Annapurna region. It is a short but high altitude trekking trail. You will walk on the high ridges with magnificent views of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Machhapuchhre.
Day 01: Drive to Kande and trek to Deurali/ Pothana

We are starting our trek from Pokhara, the beautiful city of lakes in Nepal. A short drive for nearly an hour from Pokhara will take us to Kande.
We are trekking 3 to 4 hours hike takes us to our destination of the day.
You can take rest and enjoy it.
Overnight at a comfortable Lodge.

Day 02: Trek to the Low Camp

We will enjoy a fresh morning with a nice breakfast at the hotel in Deurali.
We will be reaching the Low Camp. The Low Camp is displaying the mesmerizing view of Mt. Machhapuchhre Himal.

Day 03: Trek to the High Camp

We will be trekking straight to the High Camp today. After we can reach the Rhododendron forests for 1.5 hours.
We will be continued for 4-5 hours along the Mardi Himal ridge. The colorful Danphe in the region are mesmerizing.
You will see 3 lodges for a stay. The lodges are perfect viewpoints of the snow-covered peaks. The lodge is bigger having 8 individual rooms excluding the dining room.

Day 04: Hike to the Mardi Base Camp and trek down to Siding

We are starting from the High camp in the morning and we finally head towards our major destination. It is taking around 5 hours to reach the Mardi Base Camp.
We will be spending some time there exploring the lustrous Himalayas and snowy landscapes.
It is now time to descend back to Siding. The trail demands around 4 hours of a bit steep and slippery descent.

Day 05: Drive back to Pokhara
