The project Integrate ME: The development of a VET Open Educational Resources on Cultural Literacy
towards the integration of immigrants and refugees in the EU in the frames of the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development focus of "leaving no one behind", is an Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership project which started on 1st October 2019 and will end in September 2021.
This project is funded by the EU and sees the participation of partners from different EU countries: Italy, Greece, Poland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and the UK.
The promoting organisation is Sirius Training CIC, an educational organisation based in South London.
This ambitious project aims to develop tools aimed at VET trainers/teachers and mentors working with migrants and refugees, for the promotion of cultural literacy to this target group, towards their smooth integration into the EU's diverse societies.
In particular, throughout the project, partners will work towards the development of the following outputs:
- a VET Trainer Curriculum to be used by VET Trainers/Teachers/Mentors for their professional development on Cultural Literacy;
- a VET Trainer Pedagogical Handbook on Cultural Literacy including in depth information, basic concepts, definitions and innovative methodological approaches related to Cultural literacy,
- a VET Open Educational Resource including an e-learning platform to be used as a training tool in the framework of Cultural Literacy;
- a Serious Game, which will be an on-line educational game in order to promote and motivate learning on Cultural Literacy in a playful manner.

These outputs will be tested by the partners during a 3-day training event which will be held in Greece in the summer of 2020.

On 9 and 10 December 2020, project partners attended the first project meeting, which was held in London and hosted by Sirius Training CIC.
During the meeting, the partners had the chance to discuss about the implementation of the project, share ideas, and plan the work for the next 22 months.

After return to their countries, the partners will be start working actively on the outputs.
