With the starting to the new financial year DV group which operates two mainline FTA channels “Maha Movie” in movies genre and “Maha Cartoon TV” in Kids genre is all set to expand its footprint aggressively on the available platforms in India.

Maha Movie is already available on DD Freedish, Videocon D2H,Dish TV, Hathway, GTPL other regional cable platform.

Maha Cartoon TV is already available on DD Freedish, Dish TV and other regional cable platform.

Maha Movie and Maha Cartoon TV is now also available on Airtel DTH from May 2017 onwards with Maha Movie available on LCN number 228 and Maha Cartoon TV on LCN number 472 and we are also available on Jio TV as one of the largest and fastest growing platform.

According to Managing Director – Vishvajeet Sharma, both the channels has shown a consistent and robust growth in 2016-2017 and we now command a good market share among the rural audience after BARC has started monitoring the rural database along-with Urban universe. Now we are planning further to strengthen our urban base and that is why we are on Airtel and in future we will be looking at other platforms as well to consolidate on both rural and urban base.

According to Chairman –Darshan Singh, Both our channels are now giving robust growth and within a few months of our kids channel “Maha Cartoon TV” we are among top 3 kids channels in the HSM rural belt, therefore this financial year our goal is to further consolidate both our channels by improving our distribution and content.

We have done major content deals for Maha Movie and Maha Cartoon TV which our audience will enjoy on both our channels.
